Uji coba yang dimulai Februari 2026 ini menjadi bagian dari implementasi Honda CI (<em>Cooperative Intelligence)<\/em>, teknologi kecerdasan buatan kolaboratif milik Honda yang dikembangkan untuk menjawab tantangan mobilitas di lingkungan nyata.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrasi ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan perjanjian kerja sama antara Honda, Pemerintah Prefektur Kanagawa, dan Pemerintah Kota Odawara, dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan kondisi lalu lintas perkotaan yang sesungguhnya. Pendekatan ini dirancang agar teknologi dapat diterapkan secara fleksibel di kota dan jaringan jalan yang telah ada, termasuk melalui solusi <em>retrofit<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Selain pengujian pada kendaraan bermesin konvensional, Honda juga menjalankan pengembangan paralel teknologi otonom CI melalui kendaraan listrik Honda N-VAN e: sebagai bagian dari komitmen menuju netralitas karbon. Langkah ini sekaligus membuka peluang pemanfaatan teknologi otonom untuk berbagai solusi mobilitas ramah lingkungan.<\/p>\n<p>Honda menargetkan teknologi mengemudi otonom CI tidak hanya diterapkan pada mobil penumpang, tetapi juga pada bus dan <em>micro<\/em> mobility, khususnya untuk mendukung transportasi lokal dan <em>green mobility<\/em>.
